More About Ian Saxon
Hi, my name is Ian Saxon and I designed and authored this website. Security and privacy issues are important to me, which is why I write for Defending the Kingdom.
There are myriad opportunities for you to lose control over your privacy and security on the internet, when you bank, when you shop, and generally by living your life. With this in mind, I hope to share some of the knowledge I've collected over the years to help you avoid compromising the information that is most valuable to you.
What is this Site?
This website is meant to help you protect your privacy and keep your computer safe from viruses, spyware, adware, and other maladies of the internet.
You will also find tips for maintaining your security and privacy when you are away from your computer, since the difference between your digital life and the offline world is nearly non-existent.
Accessibility
It is important that this site is accessible to as many people as possible. With that in mind, I have done my best to make it work with all modern browsers and even some that are past their prime. Please notify me if you find that something on this site doesn't work as it should.
Screen readers should have an easier time on this website than most, and those who have poor vision should find the large text easy to read. If you would like to make the text larger or smaller, try holding down the "Ctrl" key and pressing the "+" or "-" keys until you find something that is comfortable.
Contact Me
Email me at and I will do my best to reply within a couple of days.

I designed the former UBC Real Estate Club website and posted real estate related news and research articles between 2005 and 2006.
